An empty train station

A Week Passed, Nothing Has Changed.

It has been a week since my last train ride. We have celebrated "Rosh Hashanah" (The Jewish new year) + a weekend, and it all sums together to a great long vacation. Coming back this morning to the train and see that nothing has changed... Is it good or bad?

As professionals, we tend to exaggerate our value to a project or company, thinking it will not work without us, at least not as good. As a result, we tend to take more and more tasks and responsibilities on our shoulders, narrowing down our potential to have free time, others’ potential to grow and the company’s/project’s “disaster recovery” natural instincts.

The train worked great without me this week. It is good to be back
